Friday Favorites: 1:Face Watch

Did you win any of the Mizu GIVEAWAYS I had on last week's Friday Favorites post?!

This week's Friday Favorite is another product that I posted a review of a while back. It is the 1:Face Watch. If you didn't read the review the first go-around, please do so here!

Just a little about this company and watch. You pick a watch based on a cause (or you can pick a watch based on color {which correlates to a specific cause} - you can either be lead by passion or fashion :)) and the purchase of the watch goes to support that cause. For example, the white watch (which is the one I received from them a few months back) provides food for 10 people, the red watch provides aids treatment for 8 patients, etc.

Source

Well, a few weeks ago I ordered one of the watches for a friend as a birthday gift. As friends should be, she was completely honest and let me know that she loved the watch and the charity behind it, but didn't think she would wear the pink watch (which helps provide mammograms in hopes of detecting breast cancer) as often as she would like. She said that she would prefer the white watch, so I went through and ordered one for her.

Since the premise of the watches is that you are helping out a charity, I figured I would keep the watch (because I wouldn't want to return it and take funds away from someone who needs them) and offer it as a GIVEAWAY!

My hubby is AMAZING and took a couple awesome shots of the watch you can win!

I wear my 1:Face Watch EVERY day! I absolutely LOVE it! The only time I take it off is when I am running (because I wear my Garmin Forerunner 110 to track my pace and distance) and when I shower. If I didn't already have one I would have thought about keeping this one for myself (and shoot, if I am honest with myself and with you, I really had to think long and hard about potentially keeping it as a second watch for me instead of using it as a giveaway).

As you can see, if I am wearing non-running clothes, I always have my
1:Face Watch on my wrist!

People ask me about the watch OFTEN. Somehow in the conversation I tend to say "it's just a watch". People think it is one that syncs to your phone, so I am saying "just" because it doesn't play music, it doesn't answer calls, it doesn't talk to your car, it "just" tells time. BUT IT IS SO MUCH MORE THAN "JUST" A WATCH! This watch gives you the power to BE THE CHANGE; changing the world 1:Face at a time!

And now is YOUR opportunity to win a Breast Cancer Pink 1:Face Watch. Enter using the Rafflecopter below (and remember some entries can be done daily, so enter early and enter often!). BEST OF LUCK TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU! (And if you don't win this one, I'd still suggest checking 1:Face Watch out - they are legit! Not only awesome-sauce, fashionable, and amaze-balls, but CHARITABLE too.... YOU CAN'T GET MUCH BETTER THAN THAT!)

I love that you chose the one that benefits breast cancer as it is very widespread in my family. Thank you Carlee!

Love this! My would be the benefit cancer one. All of them are wonderful causes. I have lost several friends or family members to cancer.

Cancer, water, hunger & education. So many amazing causes thank you for featuring this company!!!

I would choose either the Cancer or the Breast Cancer watch. I have family/friends that have been afflicted by both of these. It would be nice if they had one for "your choice charity" as I would include the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association in honor of my 9 year old son with this syndrome.

If I do win, I will give this to a family member that is a breast cancer survivor!

Cancer, breast cancer, water and hunger. I have had family members affected by breast cancer and other cancers, and my heart breaks at the idea of people being hungry or drinking unhealthy water when I have so much of both. Thanks for bringing this company to my attention, I love what it's doing and will be spreading the word!

I love this idea! All of the causes are very worthy, but cancer and breast cancer awareness are dear to my heart.

Such a great idea and it is hard to pick with so many great causes. I think I would go with hunger or food.

What a great idea! It's great to see a company giving back!

It would either be the MS society of LLS as family members suffer from both of these diseases.

All of the above are GREAT causes, but one cause that is VERY close to my heart is Mental Illness Awareness.

Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego!

What a fantastic giveaway! The donations to education and water really stand out to me, although they are all very important causes. I am going to spread the word for this company, I really love this concept!

I would support either The Adventure Project or the American Cancer Society, though all of the causes are wonderful.

I'm an ambassador for the 26.2 with Donna - the race to finish breast cancer. I love the Donna Foundation (support for women with breast cancer), and it's also a cause that's near & dear - I've lost 2 family members to breast cancer, and one of my best friends survived it at age 32.

Love all of these causes - but it's a toss up between education and environment. Thanks for sharing!

Love this! My favorite charity is to support animals in need - they are truly helpless and get put into some bad situations. :( I would love to know I'm helping cure breast cancer with the 1 watch though!

Unknown said...

I would get the cancer watch...Close to my family and love the support it offers.

Unknown said...

I would definitely pick the Breast Cancer awareness one since I've known so many people who have been effected

If I could have one for any cause or charity at all - it would have to be bipolar. That is something I deal with each day of my life. Mental illness is something a lot of people look over.

Unknown said...

I'd have to go with breast cancer. If I could create one, I'd choose green for mental illness awareness. I work for a mental health company and you'd be surprised at the people who suffer from mental illness - all walks of life. Mental illness doesn't discriminate

The pink is the one I would choose. Several women in my family have had breast cancer. Luckily all have been able to beat the disease.

I would absolutely pick pink for breast cancer! My mother and grandmother were both survivors of this horrible disease. My husband's maternal granfather had it, and my mother-in-law is currently battling her second bout (diagnosed with stage 4).

The ones closest to me are cancer (childhood and breast) and wounded veterans. They mean the most to me, that I try to support as I can.

Debby said...

They are all so important, but I'd pick Hunger or Cancer.
